Blister Packs

Blister packs are used as an option for creating inexpensive packages that are durable, transparent and tamper proof. Clear plastic blisters are used in conjunction with either a cardboard backboard or inlay to enable the customer to examine the product. The blister cavity can be vacuum-formed to closely fit your product, or a range of standard tooling can be used. There are three main variations of blister pack:
- Trapped Blister: A cavity is encapsulated between two layers of card.
- Heat Sealer Blister: The cavity is heat applied to the backboard.
- Clam Pack: The product and card inlay are sandwiched between two layers of plastic.
